Greetings!
Thank you for your interest in My Life’s Work – Coaching and Consulting LLC. As its founder, I’d like to introduce myself to you.

First, the facts:
- I hold a dual BA from the University of Michigan in Psychology and Creative Writing and a Master’s Degree in Social Service Administration (e.g. social work) from the University of Chicago.
- I completed Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching program and am a certified coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF).
- I bring over 20 years of managerial and leadership experience in Human Resources (recruitment, learning and performance), spanning non-profit and corporate environments. Most recently, I was a Senior Manager of Training and Development for Covance Inc.
- I teach “cycling” fitness classes twice weekly.
- I am married and have two children – boys ages 9 and 12.
- I love independent films
- Writing is one of my long-standing hobbies.
Yet, the facts never tell one’s entire story. What this information doesn’t convey is my passion for helping people experience BOTH success AND satisfaction in their work, however they define it. I believe that nothing is more important than work fulfillment, particularly at a time when “work” requires higher levels of energy and time than ever before. Supporting an individual or an organization’s capacity for work empowerment, excellence, and engagement matters most to me.
There is no such thing as a “typical” coaching client. Each of my clients has both a unique story and unique goals. Perhaps you, like some of my recent clients, are interested in:
- Creating and executing a new “career” roadmap
- Managing a transition that directly or indirectly impacts that career
- Setting and achieving new personal/professional goals
- Integrating your personal and professional lives
- Building your leadership skills in emotional intelligence, inclusion, and communication
As a consultant, I work primarily with leaders in Human Resources. When I partner with an organization, my work (public speaking, workshops, focus groups, program analysis and design) often emphasizes workforce performance and workplace climate through process and programming enhancements.
In closing, I know that beyond the biographical facts and other information, “fit” is critical. I welcome a follow up conversation with you to discuss how we might collaborate. Please feel free to email me or call to schedule a time.
